Prepares a range of administrative documents, composes, edits and proofreads reports and proposals. Assists in resolving administrative problems and assists and directs visitors.Currently hiring for three (3) Administrative Assistants, with the following schedules and locations:? Vancouver Island / Nanaimo (some travel required): One permanent part-time position of 32 hours per week with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday (scheduling to be determined at time of hire)? Cranbrook: One permanent part-time position of 24 hours per week with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday (scheduling to be determined at time of hire)? Prince George: One permanent part-time position of 20 hours per week with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday (scheduling to be determined at time of hire)In Your Role You Will? Coordinate and perform a range of staff and/or operational support activities for the region/program group; serves as a liaison with other parts of the organization in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational problems.? Operate personal computer to compose and edit documents, reports and other materials from notes or verbal direction, or from knowledge of established policies; may prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit, and distribute agendas and/or minutes of meetings.? Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, interviews, appointments, and/or other similar activities for senior management, which may include coordinating travel and lodging arrangements.? Prepare or assist with the preparation of scheduled and/or ad hoc statistical and narrative reports; performs basic information gathering and analysis and/or forecasting, as specifically directed.? Assist management and staff in problem solving, project planning, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives.? Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents; develop and maintain data, and perform routine analyses and calculations in the processing of data for recurring internal reports.? Requisition supplies, printing, maintenance, and other services, as required.? Lead and train lower graded staff and/or student practicums, as required.?
