Course Description

The Jobs for Delaware Graduates ninth grade course is designed to help students establish academic and career goals. JDG students in grade 9 will develop and/or enhance basic computer, time management, and study skills. They will learn how to conduct research, communicate effectively, and create presentations. Additionally, students will set goals, demonstrate efficient study skills, interact effectively with groups, display emotional intelligence and make sound decisions. The JDG student organization, the “Delaware Career Association (DCA)” provides opportunities for students to develop and/or improve leadership skills, civic responsibility, social skills, and career skills.
