Clearing Cache in Desktop Browsers

You may need to clear cache or computer storage to allow screens to load faster or to clear completed activities so that you can perform the activity again. When clearing cache, you will have options for which data to delete. For the purpose of viewing CDSE eLearning products, you will need to delete browsing history, cookies, and cached images and files.

Microsoft Edge (v87) 1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser. 2. Select the three horizontal dots at the top right of the browser to open the Menu.

4. Select Clear browsing data.

5. Select the drop-down menu under Time range. Choose All time. NOTE: You have options to update the time range by the Last hour, Last 24 hours, or Last 4 weeks. Choose "All time" to clear all cache to provide you with a clean browsing system.

7. Select Clear Now. 8. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Chrome (v88) 1. Open the Chrome browser. 2. Select the three vertical dots at the top right of the browser to open the Menu.

6. The Basic tab displays by default. 7. Select the drop-down menu by "Time range" and choose All time.
