ADDENDUM TO THE NETWORK T & L POLICY ? OCTOBER 2017

AIR TRAVEL ? CLASS OF SERVICE

Business Class may be permitted for Intercontinental flights longer than five hours in duration with Department pre-approval, and if reporting straight to work upon arrival.

Flights to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and Central America are to follow Network Policy.

For coverage of larger scale breaking news events, CND Management may specify the class of service regardless of work schedules.

Seat upgrades within the same class of service for boarding or plane exit priority may be reimbursed with VP Finance pre-approval, provided they are booked through the CBS Corporation Travel Services self-service portal, or the CBS Travel Office.

CASH ADVANCES

Production cash advances will only be issued for travel to regions where credit cards or invoicing cannot be used for ground expenses.

Advances will not be issued to cover meal per diem allowances, or to facilitate payments due to the suspension or cancellation of a personal company credit card.

Production advances require the approval of the VP Finance, and over $10,000 approval from the CFO.

COMPANY CAR/TRUCK EXPENSE

Expenses pertaining to company owned vehicles are not to be processed on an American Express Corporate Card or through Chrome River. Employees responsible for company owned vehicles should process routine expenses via a Purchasing Card.

Parking Violations may not be submitted for payment through Chrome River. Unavoidable non-moving violations incurred in the course of business should be submitted to the employee's individual unit for approval and payment.

FEES ? OTHER

PASSPORTS/VISAS: Fees related to original passports and renewals

are not reimbursable. However if approved travel requires additional passport pages or a second passport to satisfy certain country requirements, those fees may be reimbursable. Visa fees are reimbursable, as are any photos required for the Visa application. Fees for Global Entry, Pre-Check and other TSA programs are not reimbursable.

INSURANCE: Per Diem employees who are requested to

travel to foreign locations which are excluded under their own individual insurance may submit the premium fees for any country specific supplemental insurance riders for reimbursement, if pre-approved by CND management. The reimbursement request must include a copy of the rider detailing the additional premium payment. Reimbursement for primary coverage is not permissible. While not encouraged, if a personal vehicle is used on assignment in a neighboring North American country (Mexico or Canada) that requires supplemental insurance coverage, the premium cost for the supplemental coverage may be reimbursed with Departmental approval.

CARNETS: All carnets for staff crews/equipment must be

issued by CND Traffic/Logistics. Carnet fees for Freelance crews may be reimbursable, if preapproved by CND management, and if the carnet is returned to CBS News at the conclusion of the trip.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION ? CAR RENTAL

DOMESTIC LOCATIONS: Vehicles rented within the contiguous 48

States should be rented under a CBS Corporate agreement with Hertz or Avis, which will automatically provide LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) coverage. Any additional insurance should be declined under these rentals. Additionally, rentals with non- contract agencies, or rentals in AK and HI should also have the additional LDW coverage declined, as the CBS Insurance program will offer loss coverage. News technicians may arrange for larger rental vehicles, i.e. SUV's or Mini Vans to accommodate technical equipment.

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS: When renting vehicles within the UK,

additional insurance should be declined as CBS has locally admitted coverage. For all other international locations, the additional coverage should be accepted and will be reimbursable via Chrome River.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION ? MILEAGE

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS: The use of personal vehicles on assignment,

and mileage reimbursement must be approved in advance by London Bureau management.

ALL LOCATIONS: In addition to any damage or liability losses

resulting from accidents, employees will also be responsible for the loss of any personal property due to theft.
