This assignment allows you to demonstrate your understanding of money management. You may pick one of the following: Interview, Song, Scrap Book, Comic Strip or one of your own ideas (must be approved by me). This assignment is due on: _______________

• Write up questions about how they manage their money (ie. Budgeting, saving, investing, spending, credit use)

• Minimum of 2 questions per category

• Must include a video recording or podcast of the interview

• Create 5 tips on money management as a result of the interview

• Create a song focusing on one or more areas of money management

• Lyrics should focus on money management

• Must include lyrics and podcast, recording or video of the song

Οπτιον Χ: Σχραπ Βοοκ

• Create a scrap book with a minimum of 6 articles (individual) or 12 articles (partner) on budgeting, saving, investing, spending and credit use (must have 1 (individual) or 2 (partner) article(s) per category)

• Using the internet (no more than 3 articles for individual, 6 articles for partners), newspaper and magazine articles (must be recent)

• Be sure to include the source, date, category it relates to, brief summary of the article in your own words and what you have learned from the article

• Create a comic strip that includes a money management conflict (ie. Budgeting, saving, investing, spending, credit use) followed by a resolution of the problem

• Comic strip must have a minimum of 6 boxes (individual) or 12 boxes (partners)

• Create an animated movie that includes a money management conflict (ie. budgeting, saving, investing, spending, credit use) followed by a resolution of the problem

• Movie can be filmed or animated ()

Οπτιον Φ: Ποστ Σεχονδαρψ Σχηοολ Βυδγετ

• Identify a specific College or University and program that you would like to attend.

• Research your expenses

• Create a budget(in Excel) for that program for a school year. Include all your expenses for the year, including tuition, books, residence, food, and transportation

• Identify ways that you can finance your costs.

• Prepare a summary report OR PowerPoint Presentation explaining your choices, expenses, and sources of income.
