Open a web browser and go to

Click Browse button on the webpage

(if the browse button is not visible, the "From Web" option may have been chosen. Click on From Computer to enable the Browse button)

Navigate to the picture file and click on the icon, then click Open.

Your picture file will appear in the Pic Resize window under Select Picture. Click Continue. Scroll down to #2 Resize Your Picture.

Click the dropdown list next to Make My Picture: and choose Custom Size.

Enter the desired pixel width (maximum 600). The width will automatically adjust to keep the image in proportion.

Scroll to #4 Save As and choose PNG. Click the I'm Done Resize My Picture arrow Click Save to Disk

Click Save File and then click OK.

Your new image file will have rsz_ added to the original file name. By default, Firefox will save downloaded files to your Downloads folder. If you are unsure of where your download is saved, you can click the blue download arrow to view recent downloads.

Click the folder icon next to the desired file. A new window will open on your computer with the file name highlighted in blue.
