Seth Bland has more than 25 years of comprehensive development and investment experience, including significant mixed-use residential and retail projects throughout California. He joined Wilson Meany Sullivan in 2004 from Catellus Development, where he had been Senior Vice President for Urban Projects at the 303-acre Mission Bay master plan in San Francisco. He was directly responsible for development of The Beacon, a 1.4MM square foot mixed-use high-rise including 595 residential units, 82,000 square feet of grocery-anchored retail and 45,000 square feet of office. The Beacon was recognized as the 2003 Bay Area Mixed-Use Project of the Year by the San Francisco Business Times. At WMS and Catellus Seth has also been directly responsible for development and sale of The 88, the San Jose Business Journal’s 2006 Mixed-Use Project of the Year, and luxury mixed-use projects The Glassworks, 350 Jackson, and the for-sale residential conversion of WMS-developed Shipley Square. Prior to Catellus, Seth was a developer with Safeway and Marriott International. At Marriott he developed more than 600 senior residential units in California and Washington and entitled an additional 1,000 units for future development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Stanford University and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College.
