Homeowner’s Closing Checklist - Pool & Spa Depot
This letter confirms your request for an IN-Ground Pool Closing. The service is scheduled for a tentative date of __________________. Please complete the "Homeowner's Checklist" before your closing date.
Homeowner's Closing Checklist:
? BALANCE WATER ? The water should be tested at least seven to ten days before closing. Circulate the water after adding chemicals for at least 12 hours before the scheduled closing. If the pool has algae, begin treatment no less than 10 days in advance so that the pool is clear by your closing date.
? CLEAN POOL ? Vacuum and brush walls before date of closing. Remove any SAND BAGS from ladders and entry steps (if removable) from the pool. Remove any recent fallen leaves. If pool has an excessive amount of leaves on the day of your closing, we will need to reschedule your service.
? CHECK WATER LEVEL ? Vinyl liner pools should have the water level at the middle of the skimmer. Gunite and fiberglass pools with tile around the top (using a solid cover) should lower pool water one inch before the tile line. If you are using a mesh cover and have a tile border, drop the water level 5 to 6 inches to allow for rain water.
? WINTER POOL ITEMS ? The cover, water tubes, plugs and skimmer gizmo(s) should be accessible to the service-person. If these items are NOT available, we will provide them at an additional cost. You will be notified of the extra cost.
