TEACHER REFLECTION:Integrating cultural customs to the classroom always enriches the class with multiculturalism and tolerance, which is very good and healthy for the students, especially according Banks’ theory. In this case, I chose to integrate the US custom of egg hunts for Easter. They may know what Easter eggs are because they are sold in Puerto Rico, but Easter hunts are not a Puerto Rican custom. I wanted them to know what Easter eggs are for, but it was not possible for me to make a traditional egg hunt, so I did a “grammar egg hunt” instead, integrating the content about adjectives I was discussing in the previous classes.05600700 ................
