Pitsco Education offers two distinct content delivery and management systems ? Synergy ITC and Synergy 2. Synergy ITC is a cloud-based system. Synergy 2 is a local server-based system. Pitsco Education continues to support Synergy 2 customers, but all new features will be released in Synergy ITC.

Key Differences

? Synergy ITC allows for access to content outside the lab environment.

? Synergy ITC allows permission-based management system access from outside the lab environment. For example, the principal can access information inside Synergy ITC, if desired. Access can also be created for district-level officials.

? Synergy ITC allows teachers and administrators access to alignment reports for lab-specific content.

? Synergy ITC version updates are available to customers instantly.

? Synergy ITC allows minor content changes to be updated automatically.

? Third-party software ? Special software activities that utilize a second window of instructions are tied to a specific workstation. For example, in order to complete all of the Weather Module activities, students need to work at a designated workstation to access the special software activities.
