LEA THOMPSON (Lily MacDougal) ¡ª Moving easily between dramatic and comedic roles,

actress Lea Thompson has established a career that encompasses film, television and theatre.

She is perhaps best known for her role in Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis¡¯ ¡°Back to the

Future¡± I, II, and III (Kid¡¯s Choice Award winner) and as the title character in the syndicated

series ¡°Caroline In The City,¡± for which she won a TV Guide Award and a People¡¯s Choice

Award.

A native of Minnesota, Thompson began her career as a professional ballet dancer and

performed in more than 45 ballets in Minneapolis, Philadelphia and New York. Her first taste of

professional theatre was with the Children¡¯s Theatre Company in Minneapolis, in Madeline and

the Gypsies, and The Little Mermaid. After apprenticing with the Pennsylvania Ballet,

Thompson moved to New York at the age of 20 to pursue an acting career. She was first

featured in a supporting role in the motion picture ¡°Jaws 3-D¡± with Dennis Quaid, followed by a

starring role opposite Tom Cruise in ¡°All the Right Moves.¡±

Additional film credits include John Hughes¡¯ ¡°Some Kind of Wonderful¡± and ¡°Dennis the

Menace,¡± ¡°Red Dawn¡± ¡°The Wizard of Loneliness,¡± ¡°Howard the Duck,¡± ¡°The Wild Life,¡± ¡°Space

Camp,¡± ¡°The Beverly Hillbillies,¡± ¡°The Little Rascals,¡± ¡°The Unknown Cyclist,¡± ¡°Come Away

Home,¡± ¡°California Dreaming,¡± ¡°Splinterheads¡± and ¡°Exit Speed.¡± She recently produced and

starred in ¡°Mayor Cupcake¡± with her two daughters, and other films soon to be released include

¡°The Convincer¡± starring Greg Kinnear which premiered at Sundance, ¡°The Trouble with the

Truth¡± with John Shea and Clint Eastwood¡¯s ¡°J. Edgar¡± starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Thompson¡¯s television credits include the Showtime original movie ¡°The Right to Remain Silent,¡±

two NBC made-for television movies, ¡°The Unspoken Truth¡± and ¡°The Substitute Wife,¡± the

miniseries ¡°A Will of Their Own,¡± TNT¡¯s original movies ¡°Montana¡± and ¡°Nightbreaker,¡± for which

she received a CableACE nomination, an episode of HBO¡¯s ¡°Tales From the Crypt,¡± USA¡¯s

¡°Stealing Christmas¡± and ION¡¯s ¡°The Christmas Clause.¡± For Lifetime Network, Thompson

starred with Mary Tyler Moore in ¡°Stolen Babies¡± and ¡°The Debbie Smith Story/A Life

Interrupted.¡±

Thompson¡¯s life and accomplishments have been featured in the Lifetime series of Intimate

Portraits. She starred in the series ¡°Caroline In The City,¡± which ran for four years on NBC and

in syndication, and the Lifetime series ¡°For The People.¡± Thompson also starred in nine films

for the Hallmark Channel Mystery Film series, ¡°Jane Doe,¡± ultimately directing two of the films,

a personal first. Also for the Hallmark Channel, Thompson starred in the movie event ¡°Final

Approach.¡± Notable television guest spots include ¡°Friends,¡± ¡°The Larry Sanders Show,¡± ¡°Ed,¡±

¡°Law and Order: SVU¡± and ¡°Greek.¡± Next up, she will star in ABC Family¡¯s ¡°Switched at Birth.¡±

Her theatre work includes Bus Stop at the Pasadena Playhouse, Tony Kushner¡¯s The Illusion for

the Los Angeles Theatre Center, Long Time Coming at the Powerhouse Theatre, Charlie Bacon¡¯s

Family at the John Drew Theatre in East Hampton and The Trip Back Down at the Actor¡¯s

Repertory Theatre. Thompson¡¯s biggest role was performing the role of Sally Bowles in both

the National Tour and the Broadway Studio 54 production of Sam Mendes¡¯ revival of Cabaret.

She also performed a musical theatre workshop in New York City, Please Don¡¯t Eat the Daisies,

and in the reprise series in Los Angeles with Jason Alexander, I Love My Wife.

Thompson can often be seen performing for various charity functions around Los Angeles,

including ¡°What A Pair¡± for breast cancer research, the Alzheimer¡¯s Association, the WeSpark

Foundation and the Schleroderma Foundation, to name a few.

Thompson lives in Los Angeles with her husband of 21 years, film director Howard Deutch, their

two daughters, Zoey and Madelyn, and a veritable menagerie of dogs, a cat, a parrot, fish, and

several horses.

STEVEN BRAND (Conor MacDougal) ¨C A native of Dundee, Scotland, actor Steven Brand

has successfully split his career between the United Kingdom and the United States, with

numerous film and television credits on his resume.

Brand¡¯s first work was starring in the popular British TV series with ¡°The Darling Buds of May¡±

with Catherine Zeta Jones in the early 1990s. Following that, he appeared as a series regular

on BBC¡¯s ¡°Casualty,¡± as well as the series ¡°Psychos¡± and ¡°Doctors.¡± His consistent work in

television, including guest spots on ¡°Taggart,¡± ¡°Babes in the Wood,¡± ¡°Wing and a Prayer,¡± ¡°The

Bill,¡± ¡°Love in the 21st Century,¡± ¡°Heartbeat¡± and ¡°Savages,¡± earned him a screen test in Los

Angeles in 2002 for Universal¡¯s ¡°The Scorpion King.¡± Brand was cast as Memnon, an evil

warlord and arch nemesis of the hero, played by Dwayne ¡°The Rock¡± Johnson.

Since then, Brand has gone on to make a name for himself in Hollywood, starring in HBO¡¯s ¡°The

Mind of a Married Man,¡± the Fox series ¡°Still Life,¡± ¡°Point Pleasant,¡± ¡°Human Target,¡± ABC

Family¡¯s ¡°Samurai Girl¡± and earning a recurring role on the CW¡¯s ¡°90210.¡± He has also had

guest starring roles on ¡°NCIS: Los Angeles,¡± ¡°CSI¡± and ¡°Covert Affairs.¡±

Brand¡¯s film credits include Stephen King's "Diary of Ellen Rimbauer," "Treasure Raiders¡± with

David Carradine, "Say It In Russian" with Faye Dunaway and ¡°XII.¡± Brand also creates the

voice of Dr. Ross Craven in the video game ¡°Hellsing: Revelations.¡±

He lives in Los Angeles and London.
