TLC Union County ResourcesImagine?is a year-round grief support center for children and adults located in Westfield NJ and serving all surrounding communities.? Founded in 2011 as a nonprofit corporation, we offer peer grief support programs for?children and their parents?dealing with the loss of a family member due to death. Sufficient time is given for self-directed play, drama, art, music, journaling and other forms of expression. Parent/guardian groups run in conjunction with children's groups. Young adult groups 18-30 are also available. Groups are led by trained volunteer facilitators who have completed 30 hours of training. Use a peer support model and do not provide therapy or counseling. Referrals to mental health professionals are made according to individual needs.
