ViVitro Labs Inc. offers industry-leading cardiovascular test equipment and related laboratory testing and consulting services. Hundreds of organizations in over 39 countries for 25+ years have trusted ViVitro expertise, accuracy, and quality for their heart valve, LVAD, TAH, stent, and graft testing.

ViVitro Laboratory Services holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation based on ISO 5840. ViVitro products are manufactured by StarFish Medical in an ISO 13485:2003 certified manufacturing facility. ViVitro's A2LA Scope of Accreditation includes the physical and mechanical testing of heart valve substitutes.

ViVitro Labs Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of StarFish Medical is headquartered in Victoria, BC and is a member of the Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC) viatec.ca

Business Development Role:

The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for generating revenue and achieving success in bringing products to market. The Manager of Business Development is responsible for obtaining new customers and managing strategic customer relationships in regions around the world. The Business Development role at ViVitro is a senior leadership position within the organization focussed on customer satisfaction. Its three main objectives are:

1. Customer Relationships 2. Revenue Achievement 3. Business Development

The incumbent will be an integral part of the ViVitro team participating in activities that lead to the overall success of the corporate objectives. The Manager of Business Development reports to the General Manager of ViVitro Labs Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Development responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1) Customer Relationships

? The Business Development role is first and foremost the face of the company to customers and has overall responsibility for all customer relations.

? The Business Development Manager will maintain regular contact with all existing and potential customers to ensure customers are aware of our complete range of products and services and that we are exceeding their expectations for customer experience with all departments of ViVitro.

? The Business Development Manager will develop strategic relationships with customers, potential customers, potential partners, and distributors.

2) Revenue Achievement

? The Business Development role is responsible for achieving the agreed to revenue objective and overall margin each fiscal.

? Maintain price lists to reflect our product and service offering with agreed to discounts and gross margins.

? Maintain an appropriate sales funnel in CRM to ensure adequate focus and visibility to the sales forecast.

? Engage in up-selling and cross-selling activities within ViVitro's growing product and service catalog.

? Develop presentations, assemble quotations and customer proposals.

3) Business Development

? The Business Development role shall provide timely and sufficient information to the organization to enable it to develop plans and strategies to grow the business in a logical and profitable manner. Such information will minimize the risk to the organization while seeking to leverage its existing competences and market advantages.

? Liaise with our technical advisory board to guide the business direction. ? Represent the company at business-related events of strategic importance. ? Maintain current and ongoing knowledge of competitive markets in the cardiovascular device

testing market segments.

Additional Skills: ? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all staff members, customers and the industry. ? Forward thinking and pro-active in order to find solutions to problems. ? Positive attitude and a reliable team member.

Qualifications: ? 10+ years' experience in sales and customer interaction. ? In-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular device industry. ? Flexibility to travel globally will be required. ? Self-motivated with dedicated client services focus and strong desire to succeed. ? The position is based in Victoria, BC.
