Belt Tech Industrial Job Descriptions:

Crew Laborer-Perform crewperson duties as assigned by crew boss. Crewperson duties include but are not limited to belt maintenance in the field or shop, specialty services labor and miscellaneous shop duties when working in or around the Belt Tech shop. Crew laborers must be able to lift 50 pounds over their head on a daily basis. Crew laborers work an average of 50 hours per week. Total hours per week vary and could be more or less. Pay is hourly. Crew laborers report to the Crew boss assigned to the job and the respective service managers. (Surface, Underground or Specialty)

Crew Boss- Manage crew laborers on projects assigned by the service managers regardless of location or scope. Ensure a safe work environment, quality workmanship and efficient practices of all working on the job. Ensure that service equipment including trucks trailers and tools are clean and orderly. Ensure that all crew laborers are properly trained to perform necessary job duties. Crew Bosses will tag and report inoperative tools and equipment to service manager. Crew bosses must be able to lift 50 lbs over their head on a daily basis. Crew bosses work an average of 50 hours per week. Total hours per week vary and could be more or less. Pay is hourly. Crew Bosses Report directly to the respective service managers. (Surface, Underground & Specialty)

Shop Laborer-Assist shop manager with daily shop duties. Shop duties include but are not limited to vehicle cleaning, trash pickup, filling product orders, operating forklift and other equipment. Shop laborers may be called upon to perform field service work and make deliveries periodically. Shop laborers work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shop laborer pay is hourly. Shop Laborers report to the service and branch manager

Shop Maintenance Technician- Daily shop duties, make deliveries, and maintain service equipment, company trucks, crew equipment, etc. May be called on for fabrications and to perform other duties. Will be called upon to assist Warehouse Manager with tasks as needed. Operate forklift and other equipment. Shop maintenance technicians work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shop maintenance technician’s pay is hourly and he/she shall report to branch manager.

Warehousing Manager- Work with service managers to coordinate shop work, including but not limited to shop laborer duties, maintaining service crew equipment etc. Work with Branch Manager and Inside Sales on inventory control and shipping/receiving. The warehousing manager may be called upon to perform field service work and make deliveries periodically. Warehousing manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Warehousing manager pay is hourly, and he/she shall report to the branch manager.

Service Manager- Manages crew bosses and crew laborers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Belt Tech policies and applicable laws. Interviews and makes recommendations/decisions for the hiring, training and promotion of crew bosses and crew laborers. Evaluates and provides feedback to these employees regarding their work performance and compliance with policies and rules. Takes appropriate disciplinary action when necessary. Addresses complaints and resolves employee problems. Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating work with sales team and customers for job quotes and scheduling. Handle labor warranty and customer service issues. Invoice labor. Schedule and pursue new business with sales team. Ensure that all crew laborers and crew bosses are properly trained to perform necessary job duties. Maintain safety equipment and lights. Work with Safety Director to promote safe work practices. Turn in job reports each week in time for payroll to be done. The Service Manager in his discretion may be called upon to assist in the performance of field service work from time to time. The Service Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and the service manager reports to the branch manager.

Specialty Services Planner- Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating with customers and service managers regarding specialty service work i.e belt cleaners, automatic lubricators, belt scales, light fabrication etc. Maintain accurate surveys and reports for specialty services customers including scraper surveys and Perma audits. Order inventory and track accordingly. Invoice labor of specialty service jobs. May be called upon to perform field service work on an as needed basis. Specialty Services Planner works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and the specialty services planner reports to the branch manager.

Outside Sales-Outside sales persons are the point of contact for customers of Belt Tech Industrial. Job duties include but are not limited to servicing and maintaining existing customers with all products and services. Pursue new customers where available. Collect new customer information. Contact customers to obtain PO numbers and regarding past due invoices when necessary. May be called upon to perform field service work on an as needed basis. Each sales person shall complete a weekly mileage/expense report listing the customer visited, mileage driven, and expenses associated with the call. (i.e. food for customer, etc.) Outside sales representatives are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Total hours per week vary and could be more exceeding 60hrs periodically. Outside Sales Rep pay is based on salary plus commission and each sales person reports to the branch manager.

Inside Sales-Inside sales persons act as support for outside sales people quoting products and services to customers and ensuring timely delivery of ordered parts. Inside sales persons work closely with outside sales reps, branch managers and the purchasing agent to efficiently complete their duties. Enter sales orders and purchase orders as necessary. Inside Sales people work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Inside sales people must be able to communicate with a variety of people and work as a team. Pay is salary and each sales person reports to the branch manager.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist- Primary duties include but are not limited to directing calls, taking messages, general office duties (copy, fax, file documents, etc…) for branch level employees. Entering credit card receipts. Logging Branch Sales calls, booking hotels, and entering vacation request. Administrative Assistant/Receptionist works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Receptionist pay is hourly and he/she reports to the Branch Manager.

IT Systems Administrator- Provides technical support for all branch locations. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintaining, updating and providing step by step troubleshooting instructions to all employees for company owned devices. (Computers, cell phones, tablets, phone systems, computer programs, televisions, network devices etc.) Recommend new hardware/software purchases as necessary. May be required to travel to branch locations as needed. IT Professional pay is salary and he/she reports to the CEO/COO.

Branch Manager- Oversee daily operations of branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Belt Tech policies and applicable laws. Interviews and makes recommendations/decisions for the hiring, training and promotion of branch personnel. Evaluates and provides feedback to these employees regarding their work performance and compliance with policies and rules. Takes appropriate disciplinary action when necessary. Addresses complaints and resolves employee problems. Duties include but are not limited to staffing and personnel management. Coordinate training for employees as needed to ensure all products and services are provided in a productive and timely manner. Manage warehouse inventory. The Branch Manager may be called upon to perform field service work periodically. Branch Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary plus bonus. Report to CEO/COO and implement incentive programs developed by upper management to increase profit and/or market share. Provide input and ideas for growth of the company as a whole.

V.P. Business Development - Responsible for developing new business to increase companies’ sales and growth. This includes but is not limited to: sales and services outside of branch area sales territories, sales and services to industries/customers within branch sales territories unrelated to heavyweight conveyors. Exploring options for setting up distributors of company product lines. Works with VP of Operations to develop customer maintenance programs serviced from the branch level. Identifies potential areas for new branch locations. Works with Purchasing Agent and VP of Operations in researching and promoting new product lines. Oversees key projects and explores pilot sales programs on an as needed basis determined by CEO/COO. Attends tradeshows and industry events as necessary. VP of Business Development works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary plus commissions. Reports to CEO/COO

V.P. Operations- Oversee branch operations. Duties include but are not limited to ensuring all branches under leadership are profitable and maintaining a reputation for a safe, clean and productive work environment. Assist branch manager with training programs, staffing and logistics. Schedule and make regular visits to all branches, implement programs at the branch level that encourage safety, product diversification and profitability. Approves invoices. VP of Operations works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary plus bonus. Report to the CEO and COO.

V.P. Equipment- Oversee sales of equipment products (Conveying, crushing, screening, washing) direct to customers, in collaboration with sales representatives or in collaboration with vendor/manufacturer representatives. Job duties include but are not limited to servicing and maintaining existing customers with all equipment products and services. Pursue new customers where available. Shall complete a weekly mileage/expense report listing the customer visited, mileage driven and expenses associated with the call. (i.e. food for customer, etc.) Approves invoices as needed.

Coordinate field services with customers and branch/service managers. Coordinate training for employees as needed to ensure all products and services are provided in a productive and timely manner.

Coordinate with VP Operations and VP Business Development on projects as needed.

Serve as main contact for equipment vendors/manufacturers.

Assists in yearly sales and inventory forecasts. Recommends equipment inventory levels.

VP Equipment works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary plus commission on sales. Reports to the CEO and COO.

Finance Manager - Oversee finance department, including payroll and AR/AP. Duties include but are not limited to preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and taxes. Handle deposits and bank accounts; Schedule bill payments. Approve/Reject customer credit terms. Work with CPA to prepare taxes and monthly/yearly reports. Finance Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Reports directly to CEO and COO.

Human Resources Manager- Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Oversees human resources department. Duties include but are not limited to managing insurance policies, maintaining employee files/records and compiling new hire packets. Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records. Reviews employee manual periodically for revisions. Prepares, updates, and recommends human resource and hiring policies and procedures. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Human Resources Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Reports directly to CEO/COO.

Payroll Secretary- Compile weekly payroll and direct deposit based on employee agreements and weekly job service reports. Other duties include but are not limited to submitting government labor reports as required and compiling commissions for sales people once a month. Invoice Jobs and labor transactions. Payroll Secretary works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary. Report to the Finance Manager.

Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Secretary- Duties include but are not limited to recording and tracking sales invoices, entering vouchers and bills, and working with Purchasing Agent to ensure bills reconcile. Reconcile statements and assist finance manager with reports and collections. AR/AP Secretary works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and he/she shall report to the Finance Manager.

Purchasing Agent - Act as corporate purchasing agent. Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for establishment: compiling and maintaining current landed cost for products. Provide current and updated floor pricing on products for branches/sales staff. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Estimates values according to knowledge of market price. Determines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid. Prepares purchase orders or bid requests. Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Manage inventory for all branches, which includes forecasting needed products for stock. Act as point of contact for vendors. Research possible new product lines to offer to customers. Internal purchasing for Belt Tech as a whole. Approve bills for payment. Manage company fleet program. Purchasing Agent works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and the purchasing agent reports to the CEO and COO.

Safety Director- Job duties include but are not limited to promoting a safe work environment, ensuring all Belt Tech employees are safety trained for respective positions and job sites. Ensures compliance with state/federal safety agencies. Perform field safety audits, quality control audits, and random drug testing; report incidents and safety reports to Human Resources for filing and to appropriate state/federal agencies when necessary. Duties to be performed at all Belt Tech Industrial locations. Safety Director works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and the safety director advises the board of directors.

Asset Manager- Job duties include but are not limited to preparing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program for all of Belt Tech Industrials equipment, vehicles, buildings and real estate. Asset manager will coordinate with the Branch Managers on scheduling maintenance on their equipment and properties. Asset manager will make decision to contract work or perform duties in house based on cost and time efficiency. Asset Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary and he/she will report to COO/CEO.

Mechanical Maintenance Manager- Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating with customers and service managers regarding specialty service work i.e belt cleaners, automatic lubricators, belt scales, fabrication etc. Maintain accurate surveys and reports for specialty services customers including scraper surveys and Perma audits. Order job specific parts products and track accordingly. Maintenance manager is responsible for tracking inventory and submission of purchase requisitions to the purchasing department for inventory or stock products. Maintenance manager is responsible for invoicing all labor, parts, freight, and flied service completed in the department. Maintenance mangers role will also include the support and service of the Equipment division including sales, service and maintenance programs. Duties will include working with end-users, subcontractors, and manufactures on new and or existing projects. May be called upon to perform field service work on an as needed basis. Mechanical Maintenance Manger works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is salary the Mechanical Maintenance Manager reports to the branch manager.

National Equipment Inside-Sales - National Equipment Inside Sales persons act as support for outside sales people quoting products and services to customers and ensuring timely delivery of ordered parts. National Equipment Inside Sales persons work closely with VP of Equipment, V.P. Business Development and the purchasing agent to efficiently complete their duties. Enter sales orders and purchase orders as necessary. National Equipment Inside Sales people work a minimum of 40 hours per week. National Equipment Sales people must be able to communicate with a variety of people and work as a team. Pay is salary and National Equipment Inside Sales person reports to the CEO/COO.

Executive Secretary - Primary duties include but are not limited to directing calls, taking messages, general office duties (copy, fax, file documents, etc.…) for Corporate employees. Sends customer invoices and monthly statements. Enters V.P. of Equipment sales call logs and coordinates travel for Corporate employees. Executive Secretary works a minimum of 40 hours per week, pay is hourly, and he/she reports to the CEO/COO

Finance Assistant- Assist finance manager with daily activities. Duties include but are not limited to enter credit card receipts, manage mobile phone services, bill payments, customer collections, monthly journal entries and assistant finance manager with cash management. Finance Assistant works a minimum of 40 hours per week. Finance Assistant is salary, and he/she reports to Finance Manager.
