Judge or Jury?

Sometimes the jury are unable to agree on a verdict in which case the jury will be discharged. When that occurs the accused is usually retried before another jury at a later date. In relation to federal offences, s 80 of the Australian Constitution requires that the verdict be unanimous. ................
