Each week you will learn new skills, while assisting the counselors and interacting with campers.

Topics include: Leadership, volunteerism, community involvement, citizenship, mentoring, role models,

guiding and directing camp activities. *CIT are selected via an application and interview process

Horseback camp is a wonderful opportunity for

children to experience the care and grooming of

horses as well as different techniques of riding.

Campers will enjoy visiting famous horse farms

in the community as well as other horse-related

activities. Campers also will have the

opportunity to swim. Fee: $190

TEEN CANOE CAMP

July 21-23 ? AGES 12-15

Explore beautiful Mammoth Cave National Park

via the scenic and meandering Green River.

Canoe with us for three days and two nights,

sleep under the stars, see Bald Eagles and even

paddle your canoe into a cave! This is a trip you

don¡¯t want to miss! At minimum one instructor

will be a certified Wilderness First Responder.

Visit any of our YMCA locations to register for day

camp. The enrollment packet is available online at

camp and at your local Y. Please

bring the following items for registration:

Deposits and payments

Refunds- Camp cancellations must be received one week prior to

the camp start date. To cancel your registration for any session,

complete a camp cancellation/change form and submit to your

local Y. No phone cancellations or in person cancellations will be

accepted without completing the cancellation/change form. You

will be responsible for payment unless cancellation/change form is

completed and turned in one week prior to the session date.

Distribution of non-school material does not imply sponsorship

or endorsements of the contents by the Fayette County Public

Schools.

Deposits & Registration¨C A $35 per child registration fee

is required at time of registration. Each camp requires a $10

deposit per week per child. Deposits and registration fee are

non-refundable & non-transferable.

Remaining Balance- Remaining balances are due the Tuesday

prior to the camp session. If full payment is not received by the

appropriate due date your child¡¯s enrollment may be canceled.

Financial Assistance- The Y¡¯s Annual Community Support

Campaign raises money to assist parents who want their child to

participate in camp but can¡¯t afford the full fee. Please complete

an Open Doors form and required documentation and allow 5-7

business days for approval.
