This document contains a list of free and paid book submission websites that you can submit your Kindle books to during your promotions.

Please note that over time, some of these websites might change and we have no control over that. We always recommend for members to compile their own list and always be on the search for new, additional websites that you can promote your Kindle books to. We do our best to update this list every few months.

How To Set A Free Promotion For Your Book

To set up the free promotion for your book you need to login to your account at kdp.. In the bookshelf, click on your book, then you'll see at the top where it says "This book is enrolled in KDP Select."

Click on the Promotions Manager. You'll see that you have 0/5 free promotion days used. This means that you can promote your book for free for up to 5 days during your 90-day enrollment in KDP Select. You can choose to do the full 5-day promotion right away, or you can space out your promotions if you'd like (3 days now, 2 days later). I personally do 5 days all at once, since it's easier. But you will generally get more downloads of your book if you space it out over a period of time.

You'll want to set the date for your free promotion to start 7 days from now. The reason is because we'll be submitting your book to a few websites that will promote your book on their website and they require at least 7 days notice. So make sure to set the start date of your promotion 7 days from now and set the end date also.

Once you do that, click "Save" and you can close this window. You do not have to re-publish your book again for this. The promotion is now set and you can log out of your account if you wish.

How To Submit Your Book To Kindle Book Directories

Now that you have the free promotion dates set, we're going to submit your book to various Kindle book promotion directories that will promote your book for free on their website. These sites require 7 days notice before the promotion start date, so make sure to do this 7 days before the date.

NOTE: I will mention that you are not guaranteed to have your book listed with these sites. Some of them might accept your book and promote it, others might not. It's still worth submitting your book to these sites, as it will give your book an added boost in downloads. With some of these sites, you

can also choose to use their paid option if you want to 100% guarantee that your book gets listed. This is a process that you can always outsource down the road. Once you've been through it once, you can easily hire a virtual assistant and train them how to do it. You can find a virtual assistant inexpensively from UpWork (see Bonus Lesson). You can also find some gigs on Fiverr that will do this for you. Some of the gigs might not do that great of a job or might submit to different websites, but it can also give you a boost to try them also.
