The Reverend Doctor Kenny Wyndell Rose is a 35 year veteran in administration, education, and counseling of colleges, universities, and the public schools of South Carolina. He has served as a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, which has, also, allowed him to practice as a professional psychologist.

Dr. Rose has served as Director of Guidance at Crestwood High School and as a Guidance Counselor at the Sumter County Adult Education Center in Sumter SC.

At South Carolina State University, he served as an Adjunct Professor in the Education Division.

For ten years, he formerly served as Chief Counselor, Testing Officer, and Director of the Counseling and Testing Center at Morris College. While in these positions, he supervised the programs of educational, social, and personal counseling, as well as the orientation programs for incoming students.

For two years, Dr. Rose has served as Director of Consultation Education and Prevention Programs for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Also, he was a consultant with Rock Hill School District III as a Group and Behavioral Therapist.

A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Dr. Rose is a graduate of Morris College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in just three years. He later earned a Master of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. In 1998, Dr. Rose was awarded a Ph.D., which was conferred upon him from the Union Institute University, in the area of Education and Administration with two Interdisciplinary areas of Religious Studies and Counseling/Psychology Education.

Dr. Rose is the recipient of several local, statewide, regional, and national awards. He holds membership in numerous professional, religious and fraternal organizations. He was named an "Outstanding Young Man in America" and was recognized as a "Positive Black Male Image" at the South Carolina Annual Black Male Showcase USA Image Awards. Dr. Rose is a life member of the NAACP and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Dr. Rose is married to Angela Fonta Johnson Rose, a native of Lancaster, South Carolina, and they are the proud parents of one son, Kendall DeAngelo Rose. Some of his favorite avocations include: golfing, tennis, fishing, basketball,

soccer, and roller skating, karate, and community affairs. Above all that has been mentioned, he is most prideful of the fact that he is a "BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN."
