Wagon Instructions

Materials

? Cardboard (wagon wheels) ? White construction paper ? Brown Construction paper ? Shoe Box ? Glue sticks ? Colored Pencils or Crayons ? Scissors ? Black Marker

Instructions

? Before construction can begins, make sure that the white construction

paper can fit inside the shoebox like a bonnet. Cut it if necessary.

? Now cut the brown construction paper so that it fits around the shoebox. I

recommend placing the shoebox on its side and tracing it on the paper before cutting it out.

? Cut four circles with a diameter of approximately 4 inches out of

cardboard.

? Place items on your bonnet (white construction paper) to ensure they fit

before gluing them down. You will need to leave one inch at the top and bottom of the construction paper so that you can glue it to the wagon. The items that need to be placed on your bonnet include:

o 4 landmarks o Labeled wagon o Map o Chores o Entertainment

? Now it is time to construct your wagon. Glue the brown construction paper

to the shoebox. You will need to cover the entire piece of construction paper with glue to ensure that no parts lift up.

? Now draw a hub and spokes on each of your wagon's wheels and attach them

with a lot of glue to your wagon. Make sure that you place them at the same spot so that the wagon stands upright and doesn't fall over. Lay your wagon on its side so that it has time to dry.

? Next put glue on the bottom one-inch area of your bonnet (white

construction paper and attach it to the inside of the wagon (shoebox).

? Attach the Title and Name Card to the Side of the wagon.
