|For the back of the large poster, make & attach a typed list (word document) of all the English words derived from these root words and their meanings. Refer to |
|both print and on-line dictionaries (e.g. ), other on-line resources (e.g., ) and to the attached lists of prefixes and suffixes. You |
|will find most, if not all, your words on . (10 points) |
|For the front of the large poster, choose 40 words (20 from Greek + 20 from Latin) [just the words, please!], |
|and be sure to incorporate these 40 words creatively into your design. Add color, creative touches and symbols to |
|your poster. E.g., if you have the roots for water (aqua/hydro) you could make your whole poster in the form of an |
|aqueduct and each word could be an individual brick in the aqueduct. (50 points: 40 points for the words + |
|up to 10 possible points for creativity. Be creative!) |
|Also, for the front of the poster, Invent 4 new words with their meanings: one using a Latin prefix, another using a Latin suffix, a 3rd using a Greek prefix, and |
