MS Office at Home

All LCISD Staff members and students (grades 3-12) may now download FREE and FULLY FUNCTIONAL copies of the MS Office Suite on their personal computers & mobile devices. Each user is allowed to download/install:

5 installations on Mac or PC 5 installations on tablets 5 installations on phones That's a total of 15 installations of the MS Office Suite per user!

Software to Install

Home PC/Mac Installation

1. On your home PC/Mac, visit and Log in to Office 365 with the credentials given to you by the district. Note: Teachers may access student usernames/passwords in Skyward. Visit: to learn more.

2. Click on the Office 365 logo found on the top, left-hand corner of the page. 3. Select "Install now"

4. Run the program when prompted by the pop-up at the bottom of your screen.

5. Follow the prompts to complete the software installation. Note: Please allow adequate time for installation.

Windows 7 or higher

OS X 10.6 or higher

Leaving the District

Once a student or employee leaves the district their LCISD provided Office 365 account is terminated. Any documents from the user's OneDrive that the

user would like to retain must be exported to a flash drive, or other cloud storage service. All software installed on personal computers or mobile devices will revert to "Read-Only" status, allowing users to view, but not edit documents.
