Mathematicians Research Project – Due 10/31
DIRECTIONS:
1. Complete research to learn about a famous mathematician, pay special attention to fun interesting facts that could be really exciting to share with your classmates;
2. Each person must complete his/her own research and complete the “Let Me Introduce You” form.
3. Complete and present the project.
DESCRIPTION
All projects must include all of the information from the “Let Me Introduce You” form. Each person must complete an oral report plus either a collage or a power point presentation to accompany the oral report.
· Oral Report—Dress up as the person you have chosen. Tell "your" life story in a creative way using scenery and/or props. Explain important parts of the mathematician's biography and contribution in fun creative way. You may accompany your performance with a Collage, Or PPT/Google Slides/Prezi
·For Collage—Use pictures, words, maps, and symbols to create a large collage on poster board about the mathematician. Use this to give an oral presentation to the class.
· Google Slides/Powerpoint presentation/Prezi –WILL NOT BE accepted without Oral report. Just reading from a screen will not be accepted .Use pictures, words, maps, and symbols to create a powerpoint or Prezi presentation about the mathematician. Use this to give an oral presentation to the class.
