Graphic Design 2 Unit 6- VMHS Graduation Program

Objective – Design a program for the graduation ceremony at VMHS on June 7, 2013 using designs that are consistent with the school’s theme (colors and images) and Motto of CLASS.

Procedure

1. Read the directions

2. Use the template to create your designs.

3. Edit your work/spelling carefully.

4. Save a final copy of your work as a JPEG file. Keep all Illustrator files as well for editing if yours is chosen.

5. Turn in all paperwork on time.

Requirements –

1. You must have a double sided design (inside/outside) that fits the template.

2. Inside: You must use all names of students in order by (last name, first name) and separated by letter alphabetically. Be creative but make sure all names are legible. Do not go smaller than size 8 font. Adjust spacing if necessary. Copy and paste names from the list provided.

3. You must also use the info. key when designing the inside pages. Make a small section only for the key. Names will be matched up later to the correct symbols.

4. Include background designs that are consistent with the theme of the event. Don’t overpower the names!

5. The front cover will have a unique/original design of your own with the details of the event (Vista Murrieta High School, Class of 2012 Graduation Ceremony or Commencement Ceremony, June 7, 2013, 5:00 P.M., Bronco Stadium).

6. The back cover will have names of administrators and other district persons along with some student names (see lists).

7. There must be a timeline of events/program. Some info to be added later. Use the info provided.

8. You must include the school crest design in your program. Be creative and use it to enhance your design. (File provided)

9. The design must also have the following info: 10th Anniversary 2003-2013. Think of ways to make this a part of the design. It would also be ok to make it the overall theme.
