The role of the Pathfinders
Pathfinders were the very first paratroopers to fly over and jump in Normandy. Find their insignia in the first exhibition room and colour it below:
Once in Normandy, they had to prepare for the arrival of their comrades a few hours later, by marking out the drop zones.
Their role was very important to try and prevent the paratroopers from jumping in the wrong place because after
that jump, they needed to fullfill other missions such as destroying bridges, freeing cities, and securing roads.
