Vehicle Value Appeal Affidavit

This form is used to appeal the taxable value of a vehicle by an appraisal of

property from a dealer of the make in question. You may appeal the value of

your vehicle on or before the ¡°pay by¡± date. The appraisal must be done by the

dealer of a vehicle and not Carmax or other general dealers. An appeal must be

signed by both the dealer representative and the owner and received by the tax

due date (last day of the month in which a tag expires). Failure to do so constitutes an abandonment of the appeal. You may submit this form in person, by fax

mail, or email.
