GOOGLE/CANVAS/INFINITE CAMPUS ACCOUNTS

CCSD has merged all login credentials to student accounts into one login. Students will use their email@ to access Google, Infinite Campus, and Canvas.

In order to log into a CCSD device (such as a Chromebook), you will no longer use your student number, you will use your Active Directory User ID (generally takes the form of name.personid). The default password remains their Person ID. If you have trouble logging in call 702-799-3300 or

Students with login problems or who do not know their above information can visit

Students must have their username/login as soon as possible. They cannot engage in distance learning without it!

CANVAS LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Many of you are not familiar with the Canvas Learning Management System - the platform that we will be using this school year for distance learning. Here are some resources to get you started.

Here is a great video introduction which provides a general overview of the Canvas Dashboard, so you can begin to become comfortable navigating the system. Canvas LMS-Student Orientation Tour

NOW IT'S TIME TO PRACTICE:

1. Log in to 2. Click on the Help icon on the bottom left. 3. Click on the CCSD'S Canvas Student Orientation 4. Click +Join/Enroll in the course. 5. Click Blue Enroll in the course. Now, you are enrolled in Passport to Canvas. This is your orientation to Canvas. It will provide you everything you need to know about using Canvas in your classes, you should do this before the first day of school to become familiar with Canvas.
