How-to capture event log

X-Series How-to capture the Windows Event Logs

January 21, 2008

Background

The X-Series Signal Analyzers have a Show Errors screen that is used to log problems that occur with the instrument application. However, there are problems that occur which cannot be logged to the Show Errors screen; such as Windows start-up problems, Windows configuration issues, Services issues, application crashes, and the like.
