If you’re looking to connect to a remote computer and your operating system isn’t capable of hosting a remote connection, or you don’t have access to the network to set up file transferring, here’s how to do it quickly and easily:

First, visit using the computer that you will remote into and click the green box

Enter your email, zip code, and a password that you will use to log in to the website later, then click “Go”

Once you have entered your information, click “Add Computer”

You will have to download the LogMeIn software on the host computer. Start the download by clicking the link.

When the security warning pops up, click “Run” and follow the directions on the screen to continue installing the software.

During the installation, you will be asked to enter a name for the computer you’re logging into.

You will then be asked to create a “Computer Access Code”

The software is now being downloaded on your host computer

Next you will have to check your email for a message from LogMeIn. Confirm you account by clicking the link provided.
