Photo Story

1. Save pictures for your Photo Story.

a. If you search with Google, click on See Full Size Image.

b. right click the image

c. select Save picture as

d. name the file ( give it a name that means something )

e. save the image to your folder. It might be helpful to create a folder named for your project (Egypt, recycling, etc.) and place all images in there.

1. Click on the Windows Start button ( All Programs ( Photo Story 3 .

2. Select Begin a new story and click Next.

3. Click on the button Import pictures.

4. Go to your folder. Hold down the control key and click on each picture for your Photo Story.

6. Click on OK.

7. Your pictures will now appear in a timeline. The pictures can be rearranged into any order you want. Just click and drag a picture to its new location on the timeline.

8. When you have the pictures in the order you want, click Next.

9. You will get a message that appears about removing black borders from your pictures. Click on Yes to continue without removing.

10. To save your work so far, click on Save Project. Make sure to save to your student folder and give the file a name ( besides photostory one ).

11. The next step is to add any text that you want to appear on the images. This could be used for a title screen. To add text, select the image by clicking on it in the timeline.

12. Then, click in the text editor box to type in text and edit the appearance.

13. Select another image from the timeline to add text to it. When you are finished with adding text, click Next.

14. Select the image to record narration for. Make sure the microphone is on. To record, click on the red circle button to begin recording. When finished, click on the square to stop recording. It works best to stop recording before selecting a new image.

15. You can listen to your recording by clicking the Preview button near the center of the screen.

16. To record again, click on the delete recording button [pic] . You will then be able to record again.

17. Select the next image to record narration for and record. When all of the narration is done for all images, click Next.

18. Click Next again.

19. The final screen is to save your project as a movie file. Follow the points below:

20. After creating the movie file, Photo story will ask you what you want to do next. Click the Exit button. If you click view story, it will not play. Exit first.

Click Browse. Select your student folder, name your file, and click save.

Click Next to begin the saving process
