Report on the INSAP/UCL March/April 2001 mission to Volubilis

Small (6 x 8 m.) trenches in area B had the double objective of checking the results of the survey, and of revealing the nature and date of the structures found outside the Roman city walls. One of these, covered by a barrel vault, has been shown by Abdel Aziz Mahlouf to be a bath building dated to the Idrissid period by a well-stratified coin. ................
