NEWS UPDATE FROM
HURST RIVERSIDE LANDS LIMTED
Spring is here and we are sure everyone welcomes it. The weather has improved and that is becoming evident in our gardens. The daffodils are in bloom, the trees and shrubs all now coming into flower a cheerful sight to enjoy on our doorsteps. The ‘beast from the East ‘ last year and the long hot summer sadly killed off some of our shrubs and the odd tree. The Board are therefore replanting some of the beds and the clearing work has already begun. We hope everyone will get pleasure from the new planting. We will continue with our practice of replacing any dead trees with ornamental flowering species.
Residents have expressed their disappointment that children playing football are damaging the daffodils planted in the lawns and beds and spoiling our lovely gardens. Could we ask you please to ensure your children are not responsible and we keep the flowers for as long as possible and also give the new bed planting a chance to establish. The children have ample facilities at the riverside for their games. This is a polite request, particularly with the school holidays imminent.
With this newsletter you will have received your invoice for Maintenance Charges for the new financial year 2019/2020. The Board are proposing that residents who pay promptly will be entitled to a small discount. Full details are explained on the invoice. Anyone with a query can email or write to us and we will of course be happy to assist.
The local Police have asked us to remind residents that if they are aware of any crime or drug dealing on the Estate to make contact anonymously by phone or email to CrimeStoppers.

If you are a dog owner please take your dogs out on a lead and clear up after them. Take your ‘poo’ bags home. Do not dispose of them in the gardens and bushes. It is illegal and unhealthy.
Keeping in touch with you. It would be helpful if you would kindly let us have your email address in order for us to directly share information and updates on activity on the Estate. Our email address is above.
Please would residents park their vehicles with consideration for wheelchair users, Mums with pushchairs and the elderly. Please do not block driveways and pavements it creates hazards and inconvenience. In addition please do not abandon untaxed vehicles in residents parking bays. Parking on the Estate is at a premium and these vehicles are taking up valuable spaces.
Finally, if you have news or photographs regarding the Estate that you would like to share our Website is now live and we will add them for all residents to see and enjoy. Take a look and if you have any additions you would like to see – send us an email.
