0-58928000MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERNMilwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) seeks a part-time marketing intern to assist the Marketing/PR Manager with day-to-day tasks and promoting the Company’s productions and special events. This position reports to Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s Marketing/PR Manager. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist in writing, editing, and designing of MCT print and digital materials, such as advertisements, flyers, posters, e-newsletters, special event communications, press releases, and audience guides.Work with the marketing manager on social media campaigns, participate in writing and posting to MCT blog, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.Assist in the marketing and coordination of special events for MCT subscribers and donors.General administrative tasks may include: helping with mailing fulfillment, answering the phone, and managing ticket donation requests.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with database management, email marketing, and social media platforms is preferred. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is not required, but could be utilized if available. Candidate should be comfortable working independently.Salary/Schedule: The marketing intern will make $10/hour, working 12-18 hours a week at our Third Ward office located at 158 N. Broadway. Preferred schedule is 4-6 hours a day at three days a week, but scheduling can be flexible based on class schedule. Occasional opportunities for experience with evening and weekend event support will be offered.
