Maryland Area Driver Rehabilitation Programs

Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) offers this list of providers as a customer convenience. MVA does not endorse or recommend any individual, business, or organization included on this listing. These providers are not employees of MVA and any service they provide is NOT a business transaction involving MVA. Costs for assessments and scheduling are determined by each provider. Most providers can offer BOTH in-office clinical assessments and behind-the-wheel driving assessments, and then driver rehabilitation training if necessary.

Some providers can offer ONLY in-office clinical assessments; these providers are listed under Clinical Assessments Only, and another provider would have to perform the behind-the-wheel assessment and driver rehabilitation training, if necessary.

NOTE: For customers referred for a full assessment by MVA, both clinical and behind-the-wheel assessments are necessary.

Some providers can offer an additional service with adaptive equipment (examples: spinner knob, hand controls, left-foot accelerator) and training; these providers are listed under the Adapted section that includes a note on the type of vehicles they service.

Only a few providers can offer assessments for first-time (novice) drivers, who have never before been a licensed driver; these few providers are listed under First-Time (Novice) Drivers.
