The appeal is asking for a setback variance on the waterfront from an existing 36 feet down to 26 feet and an existing 58 feet down to 48 feet. SEASONAL POSITION: The City of Big Rapids Parks Department is looking for highly motivated, task-oriented individuals with time management skills, who can perform a variety of routine manual tasks related to the maintenance and repair activities of City Parks and grounds. This may include ball field prep, the operation of pickup trucks and other power-driven equipment in addition to refuse collection. One position to begin as early as mid-April with the others being flexible from end of April to mid-May, up to 40 hours a week at $11.00 per hour.
