Introduction

Information Technology Services (ITS) with the Citizen Information Center has developed a Web-based system for

official Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) meeting announcements. Through the Internet, the general

public will have convenient access to M-DCPS meeting announcements. This system will allow meeting originators

to enter meeting information that will be posted on the Web site, upon approval. Digital copies of meeting

notices are kept with the Citizen Information Center.

Getting Started

From the home page, click on Calendar tab and select Master Calendar

Signing In

Meeting organizers have the ability to enter meeting information to be posted on the Meeting Announcements

Web site.

From the Master Calendar site, scroll down to the Actions section and SIGN IN.

When the sign in page appears, use your employee number and network credentials to sign in.

Post a Meeting

Once you sign in, you will see a green button titled Post a Meeting under the Actions section.

? Click on the Category drop-down menu to

select a Category.

? Enter a Date for the meeting

? Enter the Start and End time for the

meeting

? Type the School or Department posting the

meeting

? Type the Address/Room in which the

meeting will be held

? Type the Subject of the meeting

? Type the name of the Contact Person

? Type a telephone number (do not enter

dashes)

? Type an extension if needed

? Type the names of the Organizers

? Click Submit when done filling in all the

required fields

Confirmation Page

A meeting ID number will be assigned to the meeting. The meeting is pending approval by the

appropriate office according to the category selected for the meeting. Once the meeting has been

approved, it will be posted and available for viewing, edit and/or cancel.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent upon approval or disapproval of the meeting.

Finding a Meeting

Once a meeting has been approved, it will be available for viewing in the Master Calendar page under the

Meeting Listing section.

Meeting announcements are divided into categories. The approval/disapproval process is handled by the

office responsible of that category.

Select All Meetings and Events to view all the meetings or select a category to view meetings posted in that

category.

You may Search for a particular location, subject, address, contact person or leave blank to see all meetings

You may select a range of dates you wish to view.
