On the Friday night of Hanukkah, we light Hanukkah candles first, and then Shabbat candles, so as not to be lighting Hanukkah candles on Shabbat. Likewise, on Saturday night, we first finish Shabbat by making Havdalah, then light Hanukkah candles.

KR On The Move!

With the Phase 1 work on our new home at 7701 Maryland Ave essentially complete, construction on the Third Floor Office Suite, Library and Youth Lounge is now well under way, with construction scheduled for completion by the end of February 2021. Simultaneously, a strategy for building the Early Childhood Center on the lower level of the building has been on-going for the past 2 months, and fundraising for the ECC Project has yielded significant pledges and support.
