minecraft windows 10 beta 1.0.5 download

Windows 10 Minecraft Beta won't uninstall.

My windows 10 minecraft beta will not uninstall. I have tried everything the xbox insider hub has suggested, I have contacted four microsoft xbox

agents and have not received any feedback, as well as from Mojang. I am completely at a loss, the beta will not go away no matter what I try. If

anyone has any solutions or suggestions please respond to this message, as soon as possible. I would really like to get back to playing minecraft.

Good day! This is Jhakesong an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to assist you with this.

Try this possible solution to uninstall Minecraft Beta off your machine.

To remove the beta version of Minecraft from all registered users on the PC:

1) On the PC, press Windows Key + X. 2) Select Command Prompt (Admin). 3) In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type:

powershell Press Enter. 4) In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or copy & paste: Get-AppxPackage -allusers *minecraftUWP*

| remove-appxpackage -allusers.

5) You can now close the Command Prompt window. 6) You will need to uninstall/reinstall Minecraft to complete the removal of the beta version.

You may leave the Minecraft Better Together Beta at any time, via the Xbox Insider Hub app. Simply navigate to Insider Content>Minecraft

Beta>Manage>Unenroll.

Your game will shortly receive an update, reverting back to the GA build.

Thank you for participating in the Minecraft Better Together beta!

Unenrolling and waiting for an update doesn't work. You can unenroll and no update happens. You can also uninstall (after unenrolling) then reinstall and that does not work (something is caching the installer). You can uninstall, delete "Delivery Optimization Files" using "Disk Cleanup"

reboot and re-install and that doesn't work. Any other suggestion rather than re-installing the machine.

This is insane, I am not longer part of the beta. I have unenrolled, however after re-installing Windows 10 (which is in itself insane to get rid of a

beta version) and re-installing minecraft I still got the f***ing beta version. The game was the normal version when after the re-instal of Windows

and Minecraft, but after my son played for about 30 mins and left the game when he return it had updated to the beta version.

That doesn't work. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Xbox App and Minecraft per another Official Staff, it's still coming up as Beta. Please help!! I paid

for Windows 10 regular build.

This issue can occur on the PC when more than one account has signed in and launched the beta version of Minecraft. Therefore, if you have

unregistered on one account, but at some point launched the beta version of Minecraft on another account, that other account will retain the rights

to the Minecraft Beta.

The current work-around would be to launch the Xbox Insider Hub on any accounts which have launched the Minecraft Beta on that PC and

unenroll from the flight via the Xbox Insider Hub. If you don't have access to all account that might have accessed the beta via your PC, then

please see the steps below.

You can also use a PowerShell command to remove access from all registered users on the PC by following these steps:

On the PC, launch Command Prompt. Right click on the Command Prompt window from the task bar. Right click on ¡° Command Prompt ¡± within

the context menu. Select Run as administrator . In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type powershell and press Enter. In the

Administrator: Command Prompt window, type get-appxpackage *minecraft* | remove-appxpackage and press Enter.

NOTE: After performing either of these solutions, you will need to uninstall/reinstall Minecraft to remove the beta version.

Minecraft Windows 10 Edition: Stuck in the Beta Version.

I was testing a gold farm design, and some bugs that stopped it from working in the release version were patched in the beta. I'd never used the

beta before, but I assumed it would be like Java where it can be installed at the same time as the release version. I opted into the beta on the Xbox

Insider Hub, and tested some stuff for an hour or two. I mainly play on a realm, so I went to downgrade the version back to the release, allowing

me to hop back on that world.

The Xbox Insider Hub now says I'm no longer in the beta, but when I launch the game I'm still in it. I've reinstalled multiple times, and even

restarted my PC in between reinstalls. I have had no success in reverting to the release version.

How do I go back to the release version?

I've noted that the download time is way faster than it should be, and Minecraft reinstalls in a quarter of the time it takes me to download a file of

that size, so it seems like when I uninstall it isn't fully uninstalling.

I don't understand why there isn't just a separate beta download which would let users flip flop between the two versions, like on Java with the

version profiles. I've lost all the worlds I had on Win 10 edition while trying to reinstall the game, and a better system would completely avoid the

problems.

I FIGURED IT OUT!

The Fix: Log in on every user account and manually uninstall the game, then reinstall on the main user account. When the download is extremely

short, it means another user has the base files. It will just copy their files, even if they're the wrong version. The actual game size is about 180 MB.

My PC has 2 users on it. My account, and an old one that nobody uses. Even after running the "uninstall from all users" command in the Windows

PowerShell (Admin version), my game wasn't reverting to the release version.

As I stated, I was suspicious because the reinstall time was insanely fast. I logged in on the other account. Keep in mind that it hasn't been used for

years, and Minecraft had never been opened on it.

On the Help site it says:

"Please be aware that if you have multiple users and/or Xbox Live accounts signed in to your Windows 10 device, you will need to make sure that

each user has:

Backed up any world saves Signed in to their respective Windows and Xbox Live accounts Unenrolled from the beta Uninstalled the beta version

of the game"

This other account hasn't been signed in for years. When I read this, I dismissed it because it didn't seem relevant.

Minecraft was uninstalled on my main user account, and was on this second account to try installing the right version from its store. I went to click

install, but it said "Play" instead. I quickly uninstalled it and went back to my main account. I reinstalled the game again, but this time there was a

180 MB download, and it took a few minutes. I loaded it up, and it was the release, multiplayer-enabled version!

Can't leave beta for Minecraft Windows 10 edition on xbox insider hub.

I joined the Minecraft Windows 10 1.3 beta update and I want to go back. I've already left the beta several times but it keeps installing the beta.

Have the same problem. Unenrolled from beta testing in Xbox Insider Hub. Restarted. Reinstalled Minecraft. Open Minecraft. Is beta. Uninstalled

Minecraft, waited 24hrs, restarted. Installed Minecraft from store. Still beta. Have multiple licenses of this game to play it with my kids who are

under 13 and thus cannot join the Insider hub. I can't use the beta version to play with them so this is keeping me from enjoying this game. please

fix.
