Due to how these work they're unfortunately restricted to PC only, so you can't use them on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or mobile we're afraid, but for PC users these Minecraft cheats can be used to modify all sorts of things ? alter the time of day, change the weather, teleport yourself to any location in Minecraft, spawn the items or mobs you want, level yourself up, and much more as pretty much anything is possible. Coming up we'll cover how to to access and enter Minecraft commands, as well as list the options available. You can use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through previously entered commands, and pressing the Tab key while entering commands will cycle through possible options. For most of these Minecraft cheats to work, you need to be in a game where cheats were enabled when the world was created. In a single player world where they weren't, you can enable cheats by opening the game to LAN and selecting "Allow Cheats" (even if you are not on a LAN), and this choice will be remembered until you quit your world.Instead of typing in individual player name(s) for the player prompt, you can use the following shortcuts to select specific targets for your command: @p = the nearest player to you @r = a random player @a = all players in the world @e = all entities in the world @s = youFor coordinates, these are expressed as x y z, where x is the distance east (+) or west (-) of the origin point, z is the distance south (+) or north (-) of the origin point, and y is the height from 0 to 255, where 64 is sea level. You can also use tilde (~) or caret (^) notation with a number to express relative coordinates offset from your current position, with the notation by itself representing ~0 or ^0 ie no offset. Tilde offsets are based on the world coordinates, so ~5 ~ ~-5 would be +5 blocks on x (east), 0 blocks on y (same height), and -5 blocks on z (north). Caret offsets are based on the direction the player's head is facing along left, upward, and forward axes, so ^5 ^ ^-5 would be 5 blocks left, 0 blocks upward (same height), and 5 blocks backward./kill [player] Kill yourself (or specified player)/tp [player] Teleport yourself (or specified player) to the coordinates entered/effect [duration] Applies the effect to the specified player or entity, for an option duration in seconds. If you need any more assistance with using any of these commands, then simply type /help [command] for additional information and guidance. Hard work: if it's not for you, there's always cheats and console commands. What better way to conquer the sprawling sandbox that is a Minecraft world than by pulling up the command bar, typing in some words and symbols and magic-ing yourself up a prissy clippy-cloppy pony with diamond armour? A console command is much more than just a string of letters. They can change the world in an instant, from killing every enemy around you to instantly smelting all the metal in your inventory. Some people may call this cheating, but we think of it as simply saving time and letting you get on with your amazing Minecraft project. But how do you enter Minecraft commands? Thankfully, Minecraft console commands are wonderfully simple to use; they're as simple as inputting Minecraft seeds. When creating a new Minecraft world you'll be prompted to choose whether or not to allow cheats. After selecting yes and loading up the world, you'll need to press the "C" key to pull up the command bar, which is where you'll be inputting all your cheats and commands. Any command you enter in single player will need to be prefixed by forward slash (/); multiplayer commands will not work with this prefix. Now it's just a simple case of typing in the desired command and hitting the "Enter" key. Minecraft cheats and console commands Target selector shortcuts @p ? nearest player @r ? random player @a ? all players @e ? all entities @s ? the entity executing the command Target selector variables set a specific target without typing out their full name. Above are the five different shorthand commands. You'll get used to seeing these when playing on the best Minecraft servers. Help /help [CommandName] Provides more information on the given command. Give /give [Amount] Used to give another player an item from your inventory. Example: /give PCGamesN minecraft:planks 13. This would give PCGamesN 13 Spruce Wood Planks. This command is much simpler when giving single objects, but is useful for stackable objects. Teleport /tp [TargetPlayer] x y z Used to instantly transport yourself or another player to a specific location in the world. Using another player's name in place of the coordinates will transport the target directly to said player's location. You can also teleport to a new world with these Minecraft maps. Kill /kill Kills your character, adding another player's name will apply the command to them. Weather /weather WeatherType Allows you to choose the weather or your world. Options include: rain, thunder and snow. Creative mode /gamemode creative Changes the gamemode to Creative mode, which allows player flight, unlimited resources and stops mobs attacking you. Survival mode /gamemode survival Changes the gamemode to Survival mode, which means mobs will attack you and you'll have to gather all resources the old-fashioned way. Set time /time set 1000 Sets the time to day. Replace "1000" with "0" for dawn, "6000" for midday, "12000" for dusk and "18000" for night. Change difficulty to Peaceful /difficulty peaceful Changes difficulty to Peaceful mode. Replace "peaceful" with "easy", " normal", or "hard" for more of a challenge. How to find your world's seed code /seed This will produce a code for your world, note it down so that you can load up an identical one in the future. Keep inventory when you die /gamerule keepInventory true Ensures you don't lose your items upon dying. To revert this, type "false" in place of "true" Stop time /gamerule doDaylightCycle false This will stop the game's day/light cycle in it's place, allowing you to live under permanent sunshine or moonlight. To resume the day/light cycle type in "/gamerule doDaylightCycle true". Summon /summon Instantly drops a desired creature or object into your world, especially handy for when you're short a couple of tame ocelots. Atlantis mode /atlantis Dramatically raises the world's water level, submerging all but the highest mountains. Ride /ride Turns the creature you're facing into a mount. Instant mine /instantmine One-click mining with any tool. Freeze /freeze Stops mobs in their tracks. Fall damage /falldamage Turns fall damage on and off. Fire damage /firedamage Turns fire damage on and off. Water damage /waterdamage Turns water damage on and off. Smelt item /superheat Turns all items into their smelted form. Instant plant /instantplant No more waiting around for a planted seed to grow. Store items /dropstore Stores all inventory items into a chest, which spawns nearby. Item damage /itemdamage Weapons no longer receive damage or degrade. Duplicate /duplicate Copies and drops the item stack that you have equipped. And those are all the Minecraft console commands that you'll need to help enhance your game and take the hard work out of all that crafting. But where to next? Well perhaps you could make your game even more impressive with these Minecraft mods. They're sure to make your game even more exciting than Mojang ever imagined. Plus they can put things like Pokemon in your worlds! Fully Automatic Machine that produces INFINITE cooked food!!Feel free to support this project! :)Don't forget to check out my Channel!user/PureSalvation17[FULL EXPLANATION]Chickens will lay their eggs into an item hopper through a weighted pressure plate while heading into a dispenser. The egg will trigger the weighted plate thus activating the dispenser holding the eggs. Baby chicken will hatch into a container cell for 1 Minecraft Day Cycle (~20 minutes) giving them time to mature into adult chickens. Then the chickens will be dropped into a cell where a dispenser with lava will ignite them for just enough time where they burn to death which will result in cooked chicken being dropped. The drops will feed into a collection chest for the player. The need to constantly tend to your crops and animals in Minecraft is one of the more tedious parts of the game, requiring you to regularly step away from your other tasks to harvest, plant, breed, and slaughter in order to not starve to death. Wouldn't it be so nice to be able to stave off starvation without the need to constantly stay on top of your farming and animals? Well, you can, and it is in fact very simple. This fully automated chicken farm will constantly supply you with pre-cooked chicken, meaning you will not need to worry about using up your fuel supply, nor will you have to worry about breeding or slaughtering. This machine does it all on its own. It works by taking the eggs that chickens lay and firing them out of a dispenser. When the egg lands, it has a chance of spawning a baby chicken, which will patiently sit underneath a suspended lava source. After 20 minutes, it will grow up to be an adult chicken and will be tall enough to reach the lava, killing it immediately. It will drop cooked chicken due to its fiery death, which will be collected into a chest. Without further ado, here's a comprehensive guide on how to make an automatic chicken farm in Minecraft. Updated on June 4th, 2021 by Anastasia Maillot: This very simple automatic chicken farm in Minecraft is still fantastic due to its cheap cost and how much food it can churn out in the long run. Chickens are perhaps the best animal to breed for food since the whole process can be automated thanks to eggs, dispensers, and hoppers. With this update, however, an added fire safety aspect was covered to avoid any unfortunate accidents you might face after building this automatic chicken farm (one involving charred chickens and a burning fence post). Some more detailed images of the process were added to make the building of the farm even easier. Materials Needed For An Automatic Chicken Farm One chest One dispenser One non-wooden slab Two hoppers 10 glass blocks One bucket of lava One piece of redstone dust One redstone comparator Three building blocks One fence post Most importantly, some chickens How To Build The Automatic Cooked Chicken Farm To begin, place your chest wherever you'd like your collection point to be and attach a hopper to the back of it. To do this, crouch, and face the back of the chest. To know if your hopper is attached to the chest, check the funnel underneath it. Place a slab on top of the hopper. This slab is what the chickens will be dying on, and because it is only a half-block, items that sit on top of it can be collected through the block. Place two glass blocks on top of the chest, the dispenser behind the slab, facing into it, then a hopper on top of that dispenser. Don't bother placing the glass to the sides of the slab just yet. The hopper is where the chickens will be standing, so box it in with some glass so they aren't able to run away. Place some more glass around where the lava will be (directly in front of the hopper), then place lava by right-clicking on the top of the slab with the bucket. How To Wire Redstone For The Automatic Chicken Farm Behind the hopper and dispenser, set up the redstone contraption shown above, with the redstone comparator's arrow facing away from the lava, and the two redstone torches on it next to the bottom of the hopper. One block underneath it and to the side, place the redstone dust. Make sure to place your building blocks of choice exactly how the white quartz blocks are placed, too. When an egg enters the hopper, it will output a signal that will immediately power the dispenser below. Every egg that enters the hopper will fire the egg that last entered the hopper, thus there will always be one in the chamber. This is the "automatic" part of your automatic cooked chicken farm. How To Lure Chickens Into The Automatic Chicken Farm Now for the hard part: luring some chickens up into the hole. You may want to place some slabs on top of the glass blocks in order to make the hole deeper so that once the chickens fall in, they can't escape. Alternatively, you can place the fence post early and then throw eggs into the hole until you get at least two chickens, then breed them. Regardless, once you have chickens in the hole, block off the top of it with a fence post. This will leave a space open to allow you to breed the chickens with seeds. The more chickens in the hole, the more cooked chicken you will accumulate. How To Make Your Automatic Chicken Farm Fireproof Depending on the difficulty of your game, you might want to consider blocking off the top with four slabs like this to prevent the chickens from flying out. You can even place a block on top of the hole to really make sure nothing goes in or out, but it still gives you a bit of leeway to breed any of the chickens already in the hole. The reason to do this is to prevent the wooden fence post from catching fire through the transparent glass blocks, which sometimes happens. Experiment and see what method works for you, but always keep fire safety in mind. How The Automatic Chicken Farm Works Whenever an egg is fired, there is a random chance that baby chickens will spawn on the slab. Because there is nowhere for them to run, they will stand perfectly still in the center of the slab. Twenty minutes later, they will grow into an adult and get cooked by the lava above them. To finish the build, place the two glass blocks to the sides of the slab to prevent baby chickens from running away. Because the chickens are dying by fire, they will drop already-cooked chicken for you. This automatic cooked chicken farm will average one cooked chicken per hour, per chicken. If you have 20 chickens laying eggs up top, you will average 20 cooked chicken per hour, for example. This incredibly cheap automatic chicken farm is one of the most useful you can make, as it completely kills the need to worry about farming for food -- an absolute essential for any survival world.
