District Youth Rally

Our District Youth Rally is being held in Phoenix, July 6-8, 2010. Registration is finished.

Bible Camps

• Tree of Life Bible Camp (Northern California) is July 11-17, 2010. The deadline to register is June 25.

• Good Shepherd Bible Camp (Southern California) is July 18-24, 2010. The deadline to register is June 15.

• White Mountain Christian Camp (Arizona) has been postponed for 2010. It will be back in 2011.

International Youth Rally Postponed

The CYD national offices have been vacant for some time now. The commission decided to postpone the International rally until the summer of 2012. We are looking into opportunities for the youth of our district to participate in mission/service projects with WELS Kingdom Workers in the summer of 2011. Information will be sent to your congregation as we have it.

Resources

I am always interested in resources you find for keeping children connected to Jesus. Please share and encourage others to share if you know they have produced good programs. I can then, either put them on the website or know who to go to for ideas when someone asks.
