Cheerleading

Let's Go Tigers!!! Do you have team spirit and want to show it? Join Miss Bri for another exciting season of learning cheering techniques, cheers and routines! Come get fired up and into the spirit as an SJCS Tiger Cheerleader!

Paw Patrol Club

Join Miss Monique and the gang of Paw Patrol as we work together for fun-filled team building activities and scavenger hunts. Each week there will be a Paw Patrol inspired snack before beginning our fun missions. If your child has any Paw Patrol stuffed animals bring them along for the fun! The Paw Patrol gang will also receive their very own Paw Patrol carrying backpack and extra goodies along the way.

Young Chefs Around the World

Do you know Spanish? Would you like to learn Spanish in a fun, non-stressful way? NO HOMEWORK, NO TESTS! We'll learn the basics in Spanish by doing hands on activities, coloring, drawing pictures, reading books, singing songs, playing games and by having a conversation in class. We'll have a fun time together. Come and join the club and see for yourself!!!

Instructor: Mrs. Campista Meets on Monday afternoons from 3:15-4:15 in room 1. Grades Dragonflies and Fireflies Cost: $100

Get your chef on! Your child will experience the many flavors of the world! We will get a taste of Italy, France, China, Japan, Mexico, and the U.S. through fun and easy recipes. Come join us on our expedition of flavor. (no club April 2nd)

Instructor: Ms. Basl Grades: JK-1st Meets Mondays from 3:15- 4:30 Cost: $115 (includes supplies) (Food allergies for some recipes include: dairy, eggs, whole wheat)

Minecraft Club

Do you want to play Minecraft on a multiplayer server in a safe environment? This club will discuss and explore some early strategies when starting out in Minecraft in a friendly collaborative survival world. In addition, there will be a creative world that will carry on between club sessions. Pre-requisite is a pre-purchased Mojang account per child (approx. $27, if you need assistance in completing this purchase please the contact the instructor). This class is limited to 15 participants. New participants should send the Mojang username, email and password to the instructor.

Flag Football with Mr. Geo

Get ready to play with good sportsmanship and teamwork while we work on basic skills in football such as: passing, throwing, catching, and defense/offense tactics. We'll test out these skills each day with a miniscrimmage. On the last day we will have a game where parents are invited to watch and root on the kids.

Grades: 1st-3rd

Time: Friday afternoons from 3:15-4:15

Tennis for Beginners

Meets 3:20-4:20 on Wednesdays--8 sessions Grades: K-2nd. Fee: $210 Sign up online at

Minecraft Club Jr.

This Minecraft club explores the basics of the Minecraft experience, starting off on a survival multi-player world. This is geared to new players with little experience playing Minecraft on a computer. Pre-requisite is a pre-purchased Mojang account per child (approx. $27, if you need assistance in completing this purchase please the contact the instructor). This class is limited to 10 participants. New participants should send the Mojang username, email and password to the instructor; older siblings' accounts can be used if necessary.

Orff Extravaganza

Grades 3-8 students with basic music reading skills (rhythms and treble clef pitches) will join Mrs. Baham and collaborate to create and perform a variety of Orff arrangements using glockenspiel, xylophone, and metallophone. Class will be held in the music room on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:15. This 4-week class will be held on March 21, 28, April 4, and 11. During the final class on April 11, parents are invited to a brief concert from 4:15 - 4:30 in the music room. Class is limited to 12 participants. Cost: $60

Mad Science ?Movin' & Groovin'

Meets 3:15-4:15 on Mondays Grades: K-6th. Fee: $120. Sign up online at thebayarea.

Clubs run on their particular day from 3:15-4:15pm except for Cooking (4:30), Minecraft (4:45), Orff (3:30-4:15) and Tennis (4:20). Students not picked up after clubs will be signed into Extended Care and those fees will apply.
