Payne Family Native American Center The building is open from 6:00am - 7:00pm, Monday to Friday. Fittingly, the PFNAC sits on the site of a historic Salish Indian encampment, and the building is designed to reflect that legacy as well as the heritage and cultures of all Montana Native American tribes. This sacred space offers multiple displays and educational information for guests to learn more about Montana's indigenous people and tribes.

University Center: Student Union Summer Hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm Academic Hours: Monday-Saturday 7am-12am, Sunday 9am-12am The UC offers a myriad of convenient services including, indoor tropical gardens, art gallery, hi-tech study lounge, game room, conferencing services, shipping and mail center, bank and ATM's, copy center, full-service hair salon, bookstore, market, food court, and Griz Card Center. The University Center provides an inclusive, clean, well-maintained, and environmentally-conscious space for the campus and greater community to meet, study, and interact.

State of Montana Arboretum An arboretum is a living museum devoted to trees and shrubs selected for education, scenic beauty, and passing on a legacy. PNAC Native Garden The Ethnobotany Garden at the Payne Family Native American Center contains Native plants, shrubs and grasses of the Rocky Mountain West. Eight "Circle of Life" represent the diverse ecoregions of Montana and the Native American tribe or tribes that live within that region.

M-Trail The best known symbol of both UM and the City of Missoula is the giant concrete "M" on Mount Sentinel, sitting above 13 switchbacks and providing a panoramic view of the entire Missoula Valley. The trail is steep and takes about 20 minutes each way. Even if you only go up one switchback, the view is amazing.

Kim Williams Trail Right off of campus, the Kim Williams Trail offers a flat trail to downtown or into the wilderness. The trail uses the old Milwaukee Railroad grade which is 2.5 miles long and goes through a 134-acre natural area.

PAY FOR SERVICE UM CAMPUS ACTIVITES UM Athletics

UM offers 15 intercollegiate programs in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field, football, women's golf, women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, women's softball and women's volleyball. Check our website for sporting events that you can go spectate and cheer on the Griz.

UM Golf Course The University of Montana Golf Course is located one mile south of UM's main campus. The ninehole triple tee course crosses flat ground and is teeming with mature tree-lined fairways. Deer and other wildlife are common as well as outlying areas reclaimed as native prairie. The U of M course is fun and affordable and caters to golfers of all ages and abilities. Your golfing experience is enhanced by the friendly customer service provided by the University's own students. Plus, it's also home to UM Dining's Iron Griz restaurant.

The Fitness and Recreation Center (FRC) is located on the north end of campus, next to the Adams Center. Our facility offers a variety of cardio and weight machines, free weights, a functional training area, three group fitness classrooms, locker rooms with dry saunas, squash and racquetball/handball courts and three multipurpose courts for basketball, volleyball or badminton.

The Outdoor Program provides gear for adventures by renting equipment for water sports, camping, climbing, biking, skiing and mountaineering from our well-stocked rental program, or tune up your bike and skis in the maintenance workshop. The program also offers guided recreation trips from hikes to white water rafting.

The Grizzly Pool boasts the only 25-yard competition pool in Missoula. The daily schedule at the pool includes lap swim, recreational swim and adult coached swim. Propel yourself up and down the lanes working on your swimming strokes, and splash your way to a fitter, healthier you.

UM Music, Drama & Dance Hours: 12:00pm-5:00pm, Tuesday ? Friday.

UM Boasts multiple art productions year round. Enjoy a musical performances, large and small production plays and multiple dance experiences. The UMArts Box Office is the ticketing service provider for the UM School of Music and the UM School of Theatre and Dance. Our venues for performances include Music Recital Hall, Dennison Theatre, Masquer Theatre, Montana Theater, and Open Space. The Box Office is located in the lobby of the PARTV Building (on the corner of 6th and Van Buren on the University of Montana Campus) across from the Adams Center.

Star Gazing Planetarium Check our website for a list of current public showings, or ask about a private event rental. Open for public, private, and school shows we invite you to join us as we view the wonders of the night sky and explore the cosmos! Each of our shows will familiarize you with the constellations, planets, and bright deep sky objects currently visible, as well as any exciting upcoming celestial events. The remainder of each show will focus on a specific topic, including such possibilities as the star lore of different cultures, discoveries in solar physics, planetary exploration, the search for exoplanets, galaxies and cosmology, or the discoveries of recent and current space science missions. The Planetarium is located in the Payne Family Native American Center.
