First-time users of Microsoft E-Learning
First-time use of the
e-learning site requires submission of an access
code to unlock your
e-learning courses. The access code facilitates distribution of e-learning courses as determined by your instructor.
Accessing Microsoft E-Learning
1. Obtain your access code from your instructor.
2. Enter your access code in the “Enter Access Code” section of the Online Learning site:
Be sure to check the “End User License Agreement” checkbox before clicking “Send”.

3. Once you click “Send”, you will be asked to sign in to the Microsoft E-Learning web site.
4. Click the “Sign In” button and provide your MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, Microsoft Passport, or Windows Live ID email address and password. If you do not have one, be sure to sign-up for a Windows Live ID. You will need this to login. Follow the instructions for getting started with a Windows Live ID account.
5. Once you login or create your Windows Live ID account, you will be directed to the Microsoft E-Learning homepage.
Return visits to Microsoft E-Learning
To return to the Microsoft E-Learning site after previously logging off:
1. Go to
2. Click the “Access Site” button.*

3. Sign-in by clicking the “Sign In” button within the “Microsoft E-Learning Sign-In” box (see below).

4. Type in your Microsoft Windows Live ID email and password. Click “Sign In”.
*Note- Anytime you need to access new content for the first time, you will need to enter an access code created by your instructor / administrator.

Accessing your online courses
“My Learning” provides a list of courses you have access to.
1. To access your courses, click on the course title.
2. To start the course, click “Begin”.[pic]
View your transcript
“My Transcript” provides information and attendance history for courses that you have accessed. You will also find information for assessments that you have taken.
