Ch 8 Right Triangles and Trigonometry

For this unit, you need to be able to:

- simplify radicals (without a calculator)

- multiply and divide radicals ( including rationalizing denominators)

- use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve problems

- Use properties of “special” right triangles to solve problems

- Use trig ratios to find missing sides and angles of right triangles

- Apply trigonometry to solve real-world problems

- Use the Law of Sines to solve non-right triangles

- Use the Law of Cosines to solve non-right triangles
