Hanging Rock

Hanging Rock is the famous landmark and backdrop to Joan Lindsay’s novel “Picnic at Hanging Rock”.  There are many walking paths and trails, which allow you to explore the Rock and Reserve at your own pace.  Getting to the top of the Rock is not easy going, but you will be rewarded with spectacular views and maybe a koala sighting along the way.

Mount Gisborne Cherries

Mount Gisborne Cherries is the region’s premier producer of high quality, late season cherries.  These delicious export quality cherries are available from the farm gate during the harvest season.  Fruit availability is very dependent on weather.  To avoid disappointment, phone or check the website before visiting the farm.
