|The “Design & Build Lead” for the iCares programme is responsible for the development and delivery of a workable and acceptable integrated social care |

|solution as per the agreed scope of the integrated social care solution (iCares) programme, meeting both user acceptance criteria and all necessary |

|legislative and statutory requirements. |

|The role will have overall responsibility for the solution design and build, ranging from case management (CHASC and CSC), social care finance and |

|integration of iCares with other key systems in scope for example (but not limited to) SAP ERP Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Content Server |

|EDRMS, My Shared Record (ICS – CareCentric), CRM FirmStep etc., |

|To lead the specification, design & build of the integrated social care solution as per the defined scope and business requirements. |

| |

|To work with key stakeholders, including routinely working with business leads, subject matter experts, domain experts as well as with 3rd party supplier|

|consultants and business Heads of Service and/or Service Directors, to ensure the successful design and build of iCares. |

| |

|To play a lead role in the design and build work-stream comprising technical staff from the business (Finance, CHASC, CSC, Corporate and ICT) as well as |

|external/3rd party and/or supplier consultants. |

| |

|To manage the production of the required / allocated project products from planning through to specification, design options, build & internal/system |

|testing/QA to delivery while working closely with other key work streams included but not limited to Testing, Data, Training, Business Change & |

|Communication. |

| |

|To assist the Project Manager in monitoring and managing aspects of design and build work streams following structured project management methodologies,|

|tools and techniques e.g., PRINCE2/Prince2Agile/AgilePM/Scrum etc. |

|Ensure that the full scope of iCares is built and delivered as per user expectations while meeting both business and statutory & legislative |

|requirements. |

|To work with relevant internal and external partners and ensure that technical standards governance requirements are met and maintained. This may include|

|3rd party / supplier support teams and contractors. |

|To lead on analysing, identifying options, designing, developing and implementing new business processes |

|During the project lifecycle, to have a key decision making role in discussions and meetings with the customer and others involved in the project |

|To produce reports (for example highlight, end of project etc), identify and manage risks and escalate issues all in accordance with PRINCE2 and other |
