As we near the end of the school year, parents and students are encouraged to review the 20142015 Student/Family Policy Guide and Code of Student Conduct and Discipline booklet. Another resource to review is the 2014-2015 Timbercrest Parent/Student handbook that students received at the beginning of the year.

As the weather warms up, please be mindful of our dress code policy when it comes to the proper length of shorts for school. Dresses, skirts, and shorts must be at least mid ?thigh or below in length for students in all grade levels and sandals are not permitted.

Parents will be contacted if a student is not dressed following the district's dress code. A change of clothing may be requested. Thank you for helping us by following our dress code policy.

Parents, your assistance is needed. If your child will not be attending Timbercrest for the upcoming school year in 1st ? 5th grade, please contact Mrs. Parker at 386-575-4221 ext. 41425 with the child's name and place where your child will be attending next year. If you have moved to a new address please bring in two forms of proof of residence so that we can make the address change. If you have moved out of our school zone, no variance form is necessary this school year ( 2014-2015). If you would like to remain at Timbercrest while living out of zone for the upcoming school year, please fill out a variance form before the June 1 deadline. Thank you for helping us plan for the 2015-2016 school year.

Looking for an activity for your child to participate in? Flyers announcing events and programs sponsored by community organizations are now available on the district's website at http:// Simply select "Parents" icon and locate Tool box on right-hand bottom corner, then click Flyers. New flyers will be posted on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Be sure to check back frequently for events and activities occurring throughout Volusia County. Don't have computer access at home? A computer is available for

your use at every Volusia County Public Library.

During the summer months it is important for students to continue to read and practice skills they have learned. By continuing to read and practice over the summer, your child will be better prepared for the upcoming school year. Your child can access the following websites now and throughout the summer months by logging in from home or from the public library.

Dear Parent or Guardian, the last day of school is June 3, which is fast approaching. Please be sure to pick up your child's medication from the clinic by the end of the school day on June 3. This includes prescription and non -prescription medication as well as nebulizer and any equipment you may have brought in for medical procedures. An adult must pick up these items, as we cannot send them home with the students. If the medication is not picked up by the end of the school day on June 3, the medication will be disposed of according to Volusia County School Board administration of medication guidelines at the close of that day.
