Please have your IT staff (for labs) and students (on laptops) download the latest patch before connecting the first time. Before you connect for the first time, add the Walton Remote Desktop GatewayBefore you can connect, you need to connect to the University of Arkansas network: Open Remote Desktop Connection. Go to Start > Windows Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection.In the program, click Show Options, then click the Advanced tab.Under Connect from Anywhere, click the Settings button. Click the circle next to Use these RD Gateway server settings: In the Server name box enter: ent-sysgw.waltoncollege.uark.eduCheck the box next to Use my RD Gateway credentials for the remote computer.Click OK to return to the main remote desktop window.Back on the Advanced tab, under Server Authentication, choose Connect and Don’t Warn Me from the list.Next, log into the Remote Desktop Open Remote Desktop Connection. Go to Start > Windows Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection.In the Computer box, type: rds.walton.uark.edu In the User name box, type: GACL\<username>. Click Connect.
