How to map a network driveWin xpMost users already have access to a drive but may have lost the mapping to the drive and have to re-map to it. Additionally, if you are working on a laptop, you will most likely have to manually map the drive. Below are the instructions. We suggest you look at another computer that is mapped to the drive to obtain the complete path to the drive (\\server\folder). For example, if the computer next to you is mapped to Teachers (groushare7\adminpdc_shared) (I:), the FOLDER or SHARE name will be \\groupshare7\adminpdc_shared\ .If you require additional assistance, please contact the Help Desk at 216-432-6232.Click Start, My ComputerClick Tools, Map Network Drive…Choose the Drive letter you want to useType in the path to the server and folder you want to map toEnsure the Reconnect at logon box is checkedClick FinishNote: If you receive a dialog box asking you to log on with your network credentials, you may not have access to the shared drive you are attempting to access. Please contact the Help Desk for further assistance.You will now see the folders in the shared drive and it will be listed under My Computer ................
