• Length of trip and when you want to go

• Mode of transportation to N.Y City and cost

• Where would we stay?Cost?

• What will we do, i.e. sightsee, see a play, shop, see a baseball game, etc. Cost?

• Other concerns.

Students will use the following sources to answer the above issues:

Students will keep a daily journal for this project. They will record all information gathered and the source of information. Any thoughts or concerns will be recorded and addressed by their group and the class. They will continue this journal in New York City.

Students will make a spreadsheet detailing the funding needed to go on the trip and how much each individual should allocate for expenses. Each group will explore the following:

• Hotel cost

• Meals

• Transportation

• Entertainment

• Spending money

• Tapes for imovie camera

The students will learn to operate the imovie camera and video the project from the planning stage to the final product……touring New York City! Shortly after returning from the trip, the students will do a presentation on New York City for the parents using the imovie to supplement their project.
