OPINION! Game Show

Host: Welcome back to Opinion! Game Show, I'm your host, Madalynn, and today's topic is... should students have more than 15 minutes of recess?

Kirthana: I think we should have more than 15 minutes. Ridge: I believe we should have 15 minutes or less.

Kirthana: I disagree because students need to run outside and spend with their friends, which they rarely have time to do during their classes.

Ridge: Well if we cut 15 extra minutes of our day to play it would result in the entire schedule and classes needing to be altered.

Kirthana: Even though that might be true, students need to exercise daily ( more than 30 minutes ), and some students do not have the time or ability to do that at home due to excessive homework. Ridge: That is an interesting statement but school is meant to teach us subjects like math and science, not frolic and play. We should focus on

teaching the next generation. Furthermore, we already have a gym for 45 minutes!

Kirthana: Even though you have a point, in some schools, students may not have gym every day. Schools may have gym twice a day, or students

would only have gym for one-quarter. Host: And now, each contestant will share a closing statement.

Kirthana: Students should be allowed to have more than 30 minutes of recess due to all the time they spend indoors on their technology and

learning. Ridge: I disagree, as recess for students should be extremely limited so

they can focus on their education. Host: I think we can call it a draw!
